【摘要】:Open-beakeroxidativeagingmethodshavebeenusedformanyyearsinlaboratoriesofoilcompanies,electricalequipmentmanufacturers,andelectricutilitycompaniesinterestedinthestabilityofelectricalinsulatingoilsunderoxidativeconditions.Theyareparticularlyusefulasacheckonthecontinuityofproductionandshipmentofinsulatingoils.Theyarealsousefulasprocessandproductchecksforapplicabletypeoils.Specificationlimitsforoilssubjectedtoopen-beakeroxidativeagingbythismethodareestablishedbyagreementbetweenindividualproducersandconsumersofapplicabletypeoils.Thesepropertiesoftheoilinvolvedinspecificationlimitsforagingstabilitymaybemeasuredaftertheoxidativeaging(andsometimesbeforeaging)byappropriatetestmethodssuchasTestMethodD924,TestMethodD1169,andTestMethodD664.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestwoproceduresforsubjectingelectricalinsulatingoilstooxidativeaging:1.1.1ProcedureA,withoutametalcatalyst,and1.1.2ProcedureB,withametalcatalyst.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletooilsusedasimpregnatingorpressuremediainelectricalpowertransmissioncablesiflessthan10%oftheoilevaporatesduringtheagingprocedures.Itappliesandisgenerallyusefulprimarilyintheevaluationandqualitycontrolofunusedoils,eitherinhibitedoruninhibited.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
