【摘要】:Inneutrondosimetry,afissionornon-fissiondosimeter,orcombinationofdosimeters,canbeusedfordeterminingafluence-rate,fluence,orneutronspectrum,orboth,innuclearreactors.Eachdosimeterissensitivetoaspecificenergyrange,and,ifdesired,increasedaccuracyinafluence-ratespectrumcanbeachievedbytheuseofseveraldosimeterseachcoveringspecificneutronenergyranges.Awidevarietyofdetectormaterialsisusedforvariouspurposes.Manyofthesesubstancesoverlapintheenergyoftheneutronswhichtheywilldetect,butmanydifferentmaterialsareusedforavarietyofreasons.Thesereasonsincludeavailableanalysisequipment,differentcrosssectionsfordifferentfluence-ratelevelsandspectra,preferredchemicalorphysicalproperties,and,inthecaseofradiometricdosimeters,varyingrequirementsfordifferenthalf-lifeisotopes,possibleinterferingactivities,andchemicalseparationrequirements.1.1Thisguidecoverstheselection,design,irradiation,post-irradiationhandling,andqualitycontrolofneutrondosimeters(sensors),thermalneutronshields,andcapsulesforreactorsurveillanceneutrondosimetry.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Valuesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
