【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesamethodfornon-destructivemeasurementsofthethicknessofnon-conductivecoatingsonnon-magnetic,electricallyconductive(generallymetallic)basismaterials,usingamplitude-sensitiveeddycurrentinstruments.NOTEThismethodcanalsobeusedtomeasurenon-magneticmetalliccoatingsonnon-conductivebasismaterials.Themethodisparticularlyapplicabletomeasurementsofthethicknessofmostoxidecoatingsproducedbyanodizing,butisnotapplicabletoallconversioncoatings,someofwhicharetoothintobemeasuredbythismethod(seeClause6).Althoughtheoretically,themethodcanbeusedformeasurementsofthethicknessofcoatingsonmagneticbasismaterials,itsuseforthisapplicationisnotrecommended.Insuchcases,themagneticmethodspecifiedinISO2178shouldbeused.
